UPDATE: Twilight Leagues have been canceled for the 2020 Summer Season Due to local restrictions on tournament and league play, courses are unable to host Twilight Leagues this summer. This year, the Mulligans from San Dimas Canyon took home the title, as Jerry Curcio, Carlos Figueroa, Mark Heaton, and Antonio Aguilar combined to shoot 22 under net. Making their second straight appearance in the TLC, the Blue Collar Duffers of Lakewood/Skylinks got a pair of birdies from Michael Vigil and 4 net eagles from Dennis Jenkins on their way to second place. Mulligans Not Needed from Los Robles Greens and Snake City from Twin Oaks tied for third place, both shooting 6 under net. TEAMS Each team will have 4 players. The number of teams in each league will vary Give your team a name (no dirty stuff, there are kids watching) We'll design your logo (or you can send us one) 2. PLAYERS & PAIRINGS Players will be paired with their teammates each week (team of 4) A full team each week provides the best chance of earning weekly points The two best scores per hole will be counted, so two players can still compete if 1 or 2 of your teammates don't show up League Details and Rules 3. SCHEDULE Tee times (or shotguns) will start around 5 p.m . 9 holes are played each week Leagues are 8 weeks, consecutively If players sign up as a team, they can select a weekly tee-time; if they sign up as a free agent, their tee time will be assigned to them 4. GREEN FEES Players have two payment options: Purchase a whole season at a serious discount Pay each week's green fees at the course + a small league registration fee at signup 6. HANDICAPPING (GET YOUR HANDICAP HERE) All players in SCGA Golf Leagues will compete equitably through the World Handicap System. What's the WHS? TWILIGHT LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP Winning teams from league sites will be invited to participate in the super awesome, super fun SCGA Twilight League Championship at Goose Creek GC. 5. LEAGUE SCORING (JUST USE THE APP!) Recording Scores: Each player will play his/her own ball for nine holes Each team has a captain responsible for recording his/her team's scores Scores are recorded (and points calculated) in the USGA TM app Captains should download the app: Apple | Google Captains will input their team's GGID number each week (emailed to them) and input hole by hole scores of their teammates Weekly Points Distribution and Winners: The top 2 net scores for each hole will count toward the team's total score Weekly League points are then calculated per team. For example: Weekly winning team: 7 pts. Weekly 2nd place team: 5 pts. Weekly 3rd place team: 3 pts. Weekly 4th place team: 1 pt.
